A leading Managing Agent in the Lloyd’s Market is expanding its growing change function and is seeking a Business Analyst with strong London Market experience to support a portfolio of complex business transformation initiatives.

In this role, you’ll act as the key link between the business and delivery teams, initially focusing on a finance transformation project, but engaging with senior stakeholders across Underwriting, Claims, Actuarial, Finance, Operations, IT, and other core functions.

A newly created role with the opportunity to make a meaningful impact as the team continues to grow.

About the role:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders across Underwriting, Claims, Finance, Operations, or Actuarial to understand strategic priorities and translate them into clear business requirements.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of current and target processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency, automation, and improved customer and broker experiences.
  • Define and document business requirements, user stories, process maps, and acceptance criteria to support change delivery.
  • Support the design and implementation of operating models, systems, and process improvements across multiple workstreams.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and developers to ensure solutions meet business needs and are aligned with Lloyd’s and regulatory standards.
  • Provide analytical insight and reporting to support change governance and benefit tracking.

Experience and Skills

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst within the Lloyd’s or London Market insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of insurance lifecycle processes - particularly underwriting, claims, and delegated authority.
  • Experience working on business transformation or operating model initiatives, ideally involving both technology and process change.
  • Skilled in process mapping, requirements gathering, and business case development.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with experience engaging senior business and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with market systems and platforms (e.g., PPL, DDM, LIMOSS, or Blueprint Two initiatives) is highly desirable.
  • Competent with analysis and documentation tools such as Visio, JIRA, Confluence, or Excel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities while maintaining attention to detail.

Hybrid role, 2-3 days in the London office.
