About the job.
At National Highways were looking for a Senior Asset Data and Intelligence Analyst to join our team in the East Region. You will Monitor, maintain, and identify improvements to the asset databases. Also Liaising with the P&D, Scheme Delivery and Service Delivery teams to ensure that data is provided in a suitable format that meets requirements to support the assessment of needs, make investment decisions and maintenance activities. You will also support the Asset Database Manager in the effective use of resource and management of workload.
This role will be based from one of our Bedford, Cambridge or Ipswich office.
- Ensure the National Highways asset databases including Confirm are managed and maintained in line with current guidance and standards (ADMM, DMRB, Etc.)
- Manage and monitor asset inventory and survey updates, liaison with relevant teams to ensure timely submission of mandatory documentation to meet ADMM requirements.
- Assist the Service Delivery Team in M&R performance reporting by providing data in a suitable format, including production of dashboards, mapping, etc.
- Assist the Engineering Teams in the identification and evaluation of asset needs and scheme prioritisation by providing data in a suitable format, including production of dashboards, mapping, etc.
- Co-ordinate the responses to asset data requests including third parties and customers. Ensuring information is provided in a suitable format and to required timescales.
- Degree or HND in relevant discipline with appropriate experience, or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications (Especially Excel)
- Proficient in GIS mapping applications
- Working knowledge of relevant asset management documentation
- Thorough knowledge of data and information management principles and best practices
