Senior Advisory Consultant Location: Flexible - Remote with office/client visits as required Permanent full-time(40 hours) Competitive salary plus benefits We are looking for forward-thinking Senior Advisory Consultants to play an important role in developing our Advisory Services capability, whilst helping clients maximise the value from their assets and adapt to long-term challenges. The role will predominantly be working within the Water and Energy industries but may cover wider utilities and infrastructure.Our Advisory Consultants work across several capabilities including Business Strategy, Asset Management, Environmental Services, and Economic Services. Collectively they provide advisory services to our infrastructure clients in the UK. You will focus on areas such as regulatory business planning, asset strategy, service delivery, risk management, and environmental advisory on capital projects. You will also provide support to the wider Aqua Consultants business in consulting best practice.This is a senior consultant role and the post holder may be seconded into one of Aqua's clients on a part time or full time, occasional or permanent basis.CORE RESPONSIBILITIESSupport the development of justified and efficient (regulatory) business plans Support the development and implementation of asset management plans and strategiesProgress on the journey of asset management maturityImproving and making best use of asset data to deliver the right business solutionSupport the development of long-term adaptive strategies Ensure appropriate governances and assurances structures are in placeDelivering projects to excellent time and qualityAnalyse data to produce trends and drive decision makingOrganise meetings and workshops with clientsAuthor reports and presentations to enable informed decision making for the client and internal teamsContribute to business development activity by contributing to bids and proposalsSkills and experience: Typically over 4yrs relevant professional experience in infrastructure management in the water, gas, or electricity industriesDetailed knowledge and experience in physical asset management within a regulated sector with an awareness of other disciplines/sectorsUses best practice and wider knowledge to develop innovative solutionsAble to lead projectsAble to work independently and provide support to less experienced team membersContribute to business development activity by supporting bids and proposalsDevelops and maintains client and stakeholder relationshipsBachelor's degree in a related fieldRelevant professional training or chartershipWhat we can offer you:Competitive salary + discretionary bonusCompany pension 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays + option to purchase additional leave.Salary Sacrifice Pension schemeCompany mobile phone and laptop provided.Training and career progression opportunitiesProfessional Membership fees paid.Life Assurance Scheme 4 x annual salaryElectric Car SchemeEmployee Assistance Programme (with access to GP appointments, Physio appointments and Mental Health Support)Medicash cash plan (Money back on everyday healthcare costs such as dental, glasses, contact lenses)Refer a friend scheme.Enhanced maternity, paternity and adoption pay and leaveWhy Aqua Consultants?
