Are you an ambitious finance professional looking for the next step in your career? This is a fast-paced, rapidly growing business based in Birchwood, Warrington, and they are looking for a Senior Accounts Assistant to join an expanding finance team.
As they continue through a period of substantial growth, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to develop their skills, take on more responsibility, and play a key role in supporting our Management Accountant and working closely with our Financial Controller.
What you'll do:
Support the Management Accountant with month-end tasks, journals, reconciliations, and reporting
Assist in the preparation of management accounts and financial analysis
Oversee and improve day-to-day transactional processes
Maintain accurate ledgers and balance sheet reconciliations
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow processes
Work collaboratively across the business to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Identify opportunities for process improvement as the company continues to scale
What will you need?
Experience in an accounts assistant or similar finance role
Strong understanding of transactional finance and month-end processes
Excellent Excel skills and attention to detail
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Proactive, organised, and eager to develop
