Senior Accountant Central Liverpool Up to £55,000 DOE Office based - 5 days An exciting new role has become available within the finance team of a well-established and highly regarded property organisation based in Liverpool. Working from new and impressive offices towards Liverpool Central, you will be reporting directly to a Financial Controller who champions professional development and progression.

My client is seeking a talented and proactive Senior Accountant to take the next step in their career and join a dynamic finance team in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated and ambitious professional to contribute to a forward-thinking finance team and play a key role in driving business performance. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financial records related to property management, ensuring accuracy in financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards. This role is vital in supporting the financial health of property portfolios and will involve collaboration with various departments to streamline financial processes. Key Duties: Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements for property portfolios, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards Manage day to day financials within an internal CRM Management of monthly payment runs Conduct monthly reconciliations of client accounts and assist in compliance reviews Production of quarterly NRL returns and annual statements Utilise accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or PeopleSoft to manage financial data effectively Liaise with property management team re complex queries Collaborate with property management teams to address any financial discrepancies or concerns Assist in preparation of scheme profitability Review and reconciliation of supplier accounts alongside property team About you: Working towards becoming fully qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA etc. You bring previous management accountancy experience, property experience is preferred though not essential You have experience preparing management accounts, performing variance analysis, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes You have excellent business partnering skills and enjoy working collaboratively with commercial and operational teams to support performance and decision-making You are proactive, hands-on, and comfortable taking ownership of day-to-day finance operations, reconciliations, and reporting tasks Robert Walters Operations Limited is an employment business and employment agency and welcomes applications from all candidates
