We’re looking for a caring and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Colchester. This is a brilliant opportunity to make a lasting impact, supporting children with special educational needs to reach their full potential.
What you’ll be doing:
Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning or behavioural needs
Assisting teachers in delivering tailored learning activities and interventions
Helping create a calm, positive, and inclusive classroom environment
Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and communication development
What we’re looking for:
Experience supporting children with SEN in a school or childcare setting
Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification preferred
Patient, empathetic, and able to build strong, trusting relationships
Confident working as part of a team to ensure the best outcomes for pupils
