You'll be joining a dedicated SEND team with strong leadership and a positive working culture.

Your Role

You will play a key role in supporting students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, with a particular focus on Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. The successful candidate will ideally have experience supporting students at Key Stage 4 and be confident assisting in Maths or English.Your day-to-day duties will include:

Providing in-class support to SEND students, particularly at KS4 Supporting students with SEMH needs using effective behaviour regulation strategies

Assisting with learning in core subjects, ideally Maths or English

Promoting positive engagement, resilience, and wellbeing

Supporting students during break times, lunch, trips, and extra-curricular activities

Collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to secure the best possible outcomes

What We're Looking For

Strong experience supporting students with SEMH needs

Experience working with KS4 students (essential) Ideally experience supporting Maths or English at secondary level

A calm, resilient, and proactive approach

Excellent communication skills and strong emotional intelligence

Previous experience in education, alternative provision, youth work, social care, or similar settings
