SEN Teaching Assistant – Newham

Pay:

£85-£100 per day (PAYE and Umbrella options available) Contract: Long term supply

We’re looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school in Newham. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference to the learning and development of pupils with additional needs.

What you’ll be doing:

Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups to access the curriculum

Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities and interventions

Helping create an inclusive classroom environment where all pupils can thrive

Supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs as part of a structured SEN programme

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience supporting pupils with SEN in a school or educational setting

Level 2 or 3 TA qualification preferred

Patience, adaptability, and a genuine passion for helping children achieve their potential

Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff
