About the role
We at Heart of Supply are excited to be advertising this SEND Teaching Assistant KS1 position for a welcoming inner city Lincoln primary school. As a SEND Teaching Assistant KS1, you will play an important part in supporting pupils with additional needs and helping them thrive in the classroom. This full time temporary role runs from April to July 2026 and offers a chance to make a real impact within a dedicated school community in Lincoln, Lincolnshire. What you will need:
* Experience supporting children in a school, nursery, or education-based setting
* Clear, professional communication and a proactive, reliable attitude, with the ability to work collaboratively with school staff
* A minimum of 6 weeks’ experience working with children in a similar setting in the UK
* A kind, confident, and calm approach, with a genuine passion for helping pupils succeed
* The ability to follow a teacher’s lead while using your initiative to support individuals and small groups
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Experience supporting children with additional needs would be advantageous
* A flexible and proactive attitude, ready to step into different classrooms and year groups
