SEND Teacher – Dudley

Location: Dudley, West Midlands
Contract: Full-time
Salary: MPS/UPS + SEND allowance

We are seeking an experienced and passionate SEND Teacher to join a specialist SEND school in Dudley. Please only apply if you have previous experience teaching in a special needs school or specialist SEND setting.

The Role:
As a SEND Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering tailored lessons to pupils with a range of complex needs. You will work closely with support staff, the SENCO, and external professionals to ensure each pupil receives high-quality, inclusive education.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated lessons to meet individual needs

*

Lead and manage teaching assistants within the classroom

*

Develop and review EHCPs and individual learning plans

*

Support pupils with ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and complex learning needs

*

Create a structured, nurturing, and positive learning environment

*

Work collaboratively with parents, carers, and multi-agency teams

Essential Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent

*

Proven experience teaching in a special needs school or specialist SEND setting

*

Strong understanding of SEND strategies and behaviour support

*

A patient, flexible, and resilient approach

*

Commitment to inclusive education and safeguarding
