As an EYFS LSA, you will work within the Early Years setting, supporting a range of pupils with varying SEND needs, helping them to access learning through play-based activities, structured support, and targeted interventions. This is a fantastic opportunity for a patient, proactive, and compassionate individual who is passionate about early childhood development and supporting children with additional needs in a collaborative primary school environment. The Ideal EYFS LSA Will Have: Proven experience supporting children in an EYFS or primary setting - essential Experience working with a variety of SEND needs (e.g. ASD, speech and language needs, global developmental delay, SEMH) A good understanding of early years development and the EYFS framework A calm, caring, and resilient approach Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team Main Responsibilities Include: Supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs within the EYFS classroom Assisting the class teacher and SENCO in implementing tailored support strategies and interventions Promoting children's social, emotional, and communication development Delivering small group and targeted support sessions Monitoring and reporting on pupil progress Helping to maintain a safe, engaging, and inclusive early years learning environment Why Join This School?
