What youll be doing As a SEN Teaching Assistant, youll be providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with additional needs. Youll adapt learning activities, help manage behaviour, and provide calm, structured support during the school day. You'll help with: Supporting learning objectives tailored to individual targets Preparing resources like visual timetables, communication tools, or sensory materials Spotting early signs of anxiety or dysregulation and responding calmly Recording progress and behaviour and feeding back to the teacher or SENDCo Promoting independence, confidence and participation What were looking for Experience working with children or young people, especially those with additional needs Patience, empathy and a calm, confident approach A relevant TA or SE...
