SEN Teaching assistant

We are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive primary school in Hammersmith from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work closely with children who have a range of special educational needs, including autism (ASD), ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and learning disabilities.
Location: Hammersmith, South East London Start Date: September 2025 Contract Type: Full-Time, Monday to Friday Salary: £95-£110 per day (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities

Support the learning and emotional development of pupils with SEN on a 1:1 or group basis *
Assist the class teacher in creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment *
Implement personalised learning strategies and behaviour support plans *
Monitor and record student progress and communicate effectively with teachers and parents
We are looking for candidates with experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), whether in a school or care setting. A strong understanding of the needs of children with autism and other learning difficulties is essential. The ideal candidate will have a calm, patient, and resilient approach to supporting students, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with both children and staff.
