Teaching Assistant - SEN School (Primary)
Location: Chorley Area
Age Range: 7-11 years (Primary Department)

Monday - Wednesday - 8.30am - 4.30 and Thursday and Friday 3.45pm finish

Tradewind Recruitment is proud to be working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in the Chorley area, supporting children and young people aged 6 to 19 with mild, moderate and severe Autism Spectrum Conditions, alongside complex learning needs and challenging behaviour.

The school is currently seeking a Teaching Assistant / Support Worker / Graduate to join their primary department, supporting children aged 7-11. This department has around 10 pupils, all with a range of SEN needs, including Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA).

The Role:

Working 1:1 or 2:1 with pupils

Supporting learning, emotional regulation, and behaviour

Helping pupils access a tailored curriculum in a safe and nurturing environment

Working closely with teachers and the school's specialist support teams

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience as a Teaching Assistant, Support Worker, or a Graduate looking to gain SEN experience
