SEN Teaching Assistant – Full Time (1:1 Support) (SEMH Specialist)
Location: B4
Pay: £85.00 – £110.00 per day
Contract: Full time, Monday–Friday, until the end of the academic year

An exciting position for a dedicated and professional SEN Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a Year 3 pupil in a warm and inclusive primary school in Central Birmingham

Provide 1:1 support to a Year 3 pupil with Social Emotional and Mental Health Needs
Support learning, engagement, and emotional regulation throughout the school day
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCo to implement tailored strategies
Assist the pupil with accessing the curriculum and develop independence and developmentRequirements:

Experience working with children with SEMH, SEN (preferred)
A patient, nurturing, and resilient approach
Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
Confident working independently and as part of a large professional team
Commitment to working full time until the end of the academic year
Must hold a relevant qualification or extensive experience of working within a similar role.
Able to provide a minimum of 2 references cover the past two years. At least one reference should comment on your interaction with children.
Hold an enhanced DBS or willing to apply for a new one through Smile Education.
