We are looking for a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a team in Cranleigh, supporting students with special educational needs. This role requires a proactive individual with a passion for providing tailored support to help students thrive academically and personally.

Description

Provide one-to-one and group support to students with special educational needs.
Assist in the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs).
Support the teaching team in delivering tailored lessons and activities.
Encourage positive social interactions and emotional development in students.
Monitor and record student progress, reporting to teachers and parents as needed.
Assist with classroom management and creating a safe learning environment.
Support students during educational outings and extracurricular activities.
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and strategies for student success.Profile

A successful SEN Teaching Assistant should have:

Experience working with children or young adults with special educational needs.
A strong understanding of SEN requirements and strategies.
A commitment to supporting the academic and personal development of students.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
The ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
A relevant qualification in education or childcare (desirable but not essential).Job Offer
