SEN Teaching Assistant - Temp to Perm (Full-Time) - Harrow - September Start

We are looking for a compassionate and motivated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist Post-16 provision in Harrow on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting this September.

This is an inclusive setting that values equality and diversity, providing personalised education for young adults aged 18-24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The provision is dedicated to supporting learners with a range of special educational needs to develop independence, confidence, and essential life skills.

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students to thrive through tailored support both inside and outside the classroom.

SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with a range of SEN
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
Support students' social, emotional, and behavioural development
Help implement individual learning plans and EHCP targets
Promote independence and life skills development
Work collaboratively with teaching staff and external professionalsSEN Teaching Assistant Attributes:

Experience working with individuals with special educational needs (preferred)
A patient, empathetic, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
A genuine passion for supporting young people with additional needs
