As an SEN Teaching Assistant in Blaenau Gwent, you will work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and support staff to help create a calm, encouraging environment where every child can succeed.

In your role, you will support pupils with SEN/ALN by building trusting relationships and adapting learning activities to meet individual needs. Your contribution will help learners develop confidence, independence, and essential social and academic skills across schools in Blaenau Gwent.

Key responsibilities include:

Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils with additional needs

Supporting positive behaviour and emotional regulation

Assisting teachers with differentiated learning activities

Offering consistent care, patience, and encouragement throughout the school day
