SEN Teaching Assistant Malpas Excell Supply are currently recruiting for a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to work within welcoming schools in Malpas and the surrounding areas . This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with Special Educational Needs, helping them to access learning, build confidence, and achieve their individual goals within a supportive school environment. The Role: Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with additional learning needs Support children with EHCPs, ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech & language needs Work alongside the class teacher to deliver differentiated learning activities Encourage positive behaviour and promote emotional wellbeing Help maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom setting The Ideal Candidate Will: Have previous experience supporting children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting Be patient, empathetic, and adaptable Demonstrate strong communication and teamwork skills Hold a Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential) Have an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or be willing to obtain one What Excell Supply Offers: Competitive daily pay rates Flexible work to suit your availability Dedicated consultant support throughou...
