Job Overview A well-established and supportive primary SEN school in Hayes is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join its team on a permanent, full-time basis. The school provides specialist education for primary-aged children with a range of Special Educational Needs, including SEMH, ASD, and additional learning needs.

This role is ideal for an experienced Teaching Assistant or SEN Support Worker who is passionate about helping young children access education, develop emotionally, and build strong foundations for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide 1:1 and small-group support for primary school pupils with SEN and additional needs. Support children with emotional regulation, behaviour management, and engagement in learning activities. Assist the class teacher in delivering differentiated lessons tailored to individual learning plans and EHCP targets. Promote positive behaviour, independence, and social development. Build nurturing, professional relationships with pupils to support wellbeing and confidence. Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCO, therapists, and wider support staff.
