Job Title: Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant Academics are working with a vibrant and inclusive school located in the heart of Gravesend. The school is committed to ensuring that all pupils, regardless of their abilities or needs, have access to a broad, balanced, and relevant curriculum. The school are seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and enthusiastic Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teaching Assistant to join their supportive team. The successful candidate will work closely with our SEN Coordinator, teachers, and other support staff to provide tailored assistance to students with diverse learning needs. Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special educational needs. * Assist in the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs). * Work collaboratively with teachers to monitor and track the progress of SEN students. * Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, preferably in an SEN environment. * CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, SEN training). * Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. Experience with specific SEN conditions such as Autism, ADHD, or Speech and Language Difficulties. * First Aid training.
