Job Title: SEND Teacher - Resource Provision (ARP)\n Location: Hillingdon, West London\n Start Date: January 2026\n Contract Type: Full-Time, Long-Term\n Salary: MPS/UPS + SEN Allowance (PAYE)\n\nTradewind Recruitment are working closely with a well-established Primary School in Hillingdon to recruit an experienced SEND Teacher for their Specialist Resource Provision (ARP), starting January 2026.\n\nThis role is ideally suited to a teacher who has previous experience working within an ARP or specialist SEND provision and is confident taking a lead role within a highly structured, small-group environment. The provision supports pupils with complex needs through intensive, personalised teaching and a high staff-to-pupil ratio.\n\nThe unit consists of three small classes, each supporting up to three pupils, with the support of a strong team of five Teaching Assistants. As the class teacher, you will be responsible for leading learning within the provision, setting high expectations, and ensuring consistency in practice across the team.\n\nThe Role:\n You will be expected to:\n\nLead teaching and learning within a specialist ARP setting\n\nPlan and deliver highly differentiated lessons tailored to individual EHCP outcomes\n\nConfidently manage and direct a team of Teaching Assistants\n\nCreate a structured, calm and predictable learning environment\n\nSupport pupils' academic, social and emotional development\n\nWork closely with the SENCO and external professionals to implement support strategies\n\nUse adaptive and trauma-informed approaches to meet complex needs\n\nThe Ideal Candidate Will Have:\n\nQualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS)\n\nProven experience teaching in an ARP, SEND school or specialist provision\n\nConfidence leading a class team and overseeing day-to-day provision\n\nStrong understanding of SEND frameworks, EHCPs and personalised learning\n\nA calm, consistent and nurturing approach to behaviour and learning\n\nExcellent communication and leadership skills\n\nWhy Work with Tradewind Recruitment?\n\nPAYE only - no umbrella companies\n\nFree access to over 2,500 CPD courses via The National College\n\nOngoing support from a dedicated, safeguarding-trained SEND consultant\n\nAccess to long-term and permanent SEND leadership opportunities across West London\n\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled SEND practitioner who thrives in a specialist environment and is confident leading provision that makes a genuine difference to pupils' lives.\n\nApply today to discuss this role in confidence.\n\n#INDLP
