SEN Teacher - Temp to Perm (Full-Time) - Harrow - September Start

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEN Teacher to join a supportive school in Harrow on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis starting this September.

This is an independent Special Post-16 Institution. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment that recognises and celebrates equality and diversity at every level.

Providing personalised placements for young adults aged 18-24 who have an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) identifying their special educational needs. With a focus is on supporting each learner to reach their full potential through tailored, student-centred approaches.

Every student is supported to Learn, Achieve, and Succeed. As part of our team, you will play a key role in delivering meaningful, engaging education that prepares our learners for adulthood and independence.

SEN Teacher Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons to meet a range of complex needs Support students' academic, social, and emotional development Work collaboratively with support staff, therapists, and families Contribute to EHCP reviews and individual learning plans Foster a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning environmentSEN Teacher Attributes:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent Experience working with students with special educational needs (SEN), ideally post-16 A patient, adaptable, and empathetic approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine commitment to inclusive educationThis is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to make a lasting impact in a supportive and rewarding environment, with the potential for a permanent position in Harrow.
