SEND Teacher - Primary Level Salford Start Date: ASAP Salary: £170 - £270 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Primary School in Salford that has a specialist SEND inclusion unit. The school promotes a nurturing and inclusive ethos, ensuring all pupils are supported to reach their full potential within a structured and supportive environment.
The school is looking to appoint a SEND Teacher on a full-time, long-term basis, with the opportunity to go permanent for the right SEND Teacher. The successful SEND Teacher will be working within the SEND unit, supporting pupils with PMLD, SEMH and Autism, delivering tailored lessons and implementing individual learning strategies to meet complex needs.
The successful SEND Teacher will have:
• QTS • Experience working with children with SEND, specifically PMLD, SEMH and Autism • Strong understanding of differentiated learning and EHCPs • Experience using behaviour management strategies effectively • A patient, resilient and adaptable approach • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
