What You’ll Be Doing Designing and delivering creative, personalised lessons that inspire and support children with SEN. Using specialist strategies and resources that help each child learn in the way that suits them best. Adapting your teaching to meet diverse learning needs and helping students grow in confidence. Working closely with a warm, collaborative team of teachers, parents, and external specialists. Creating a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where children feel valued and empowered. Keeping clear, meaningful records to track and celebrate each pupil’s progress. What We’re Looking For Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential. Previous experience supporting children with SEN. Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and how to adapt it effectively. A kind, patient, and imaginative approach to teaching. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong, trusting relationships. A genuine passion for helping children overcome challenges and reach their full potential.
