We are seeking a compassionate, resilient, and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join the team at a Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) School on a full-time, temp-to-perm basis. This role is ideal for someone with strong behaviour management abilities, a calm and empathetic nature, and the commitment to support students who face complex social and emotional challenges.

Working as part of a supportive and skilled school community, you will play a vital role in helping students who have struggled in mainstream settings rebuild their confidence, re-engage with learning, and develop positive coping strategies. Experience supporting young people with SEMH needs is essential, alongside a genuine passion for making a meaningful difference.

Key Responsibilities

Provide support to students in both classroom-based and one-to-one environments, helping them maintain focus and engagement. Implement effective behaviour management strategies to promote a positive, structured learning environment. Build trusting and respectful relationships with students, offering understanding and emotional support.
