Senior Service & Small Works Engineer – Security Systems\n\nCCTV, Access Control & Intruder | Bolton / North West\n£40,000+ | Company Car | Benefits Package\n\nWe are recruiting an experienced Service & Small Works Engineer to support and maintain enterprise-level security systems across the Northwest / Bolton region. This role suits a Security Service Engineer, CCTV Service Engineer, or Access Control Engineer with strong fault-finding and minor works experience.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\n * Service, maintenance, and fault-finding on enterprise security systems\n\n * Carrying out small works, upgrades, and system modifications\n\n * Diagnosing and resolving issues across IP CCTV, Access Control, and Intruder Alarms\n\n * Software updates, configuration changes, and system testing\n\n * Client support across commercial and enterprise environments\n\n * Producing service reports and maintaining compliance with industry standards\n\n * Occasional requirements to assist with new site surveys and small works planning\n\n * Opportunities to progress into a more supervisor level role.\n\nSystems & Skills (Keywords):\n\n * CCTV Service Engineer / IP CCTV / VMS (Genetec, Milestone, Avigilon, Hikvision)\n\n * Access Control Service Engineer (Gallagher, Lenel, Paxton, Honeywell)\n\n * Intruder Alarms\n\n * Enterprise security systems\n\n * Service, Maintenance & Small Works\n\n * Networking: IP, TCP/IP, VLANs\n\n * Commercial & critical infrastructure sites\n\nCandidate Requirements:\n\n * Proven experience as a Security Systems Service Engineer or Small Works Engineer\n\n * Strong fault-finding and customer-facing skills\n\n * Experience working on commercial / enterprise security systems\n\n * Full UK driving licence\n\n * ECS / IPAF / CSCS (desirable)\n\n * Manufacturer certifications (beneficial)\n\nPackage:\n\n * Salary £40,000+ DOE\n\n * Fully expensed company car\n\n * Overtime opportunities\n\n * Pension, holiday allowance, and full benefits package\n\n * Ongoing training and progression\n\nLocation: Manchester / North West\nApply now – immediate interviews available
