Security Engineer

Location: Manchester (Hybrid) Day Rate: £552 per day (Inside IR35) Duration: 6 months Start Date: Immediate Role Overview We are seeking a Security Engineer to support Data Security Posture Management (DSPM), deploying and managing applications in containerized environments, and implementing data privacy and compliance controls aligned with GDPR. Key Responsibilities Perform structured and unstructured data discovery and classification to support DSPM Deploy and maintain containerized applications using Kubernetes and Helm Implement data privacy and regulatory controls aligned with GDPR Develop automation scripts and integrate CI/CD workflows to streamline data security operations Required Skills & Experience Data Security Posture Management (DSPM) - sensitive data discovery and scanning across structured and unstructured datasets Container & Cloud Deployments xehkeey - experience with Kubernetes orchestration and Helm for secure application deployments Data Protection & Risk Management - data classification, access governance, and security monitoring across cloud and on-prem environments Experience automating data security processes using scripting and CI/CD pipelines
