The Custody Tax Product management role is part of the product management function focusing on the management and control of the Global Custody business.
Job Summary As a Vice President in the Custody Tax Product team, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of the custody tax service offering. Your role involves translating tax law into business requirements, setting and maintaining tax service definitions for the custody business in the EMEA region, providing subject matter expertise, engaging with industry efforts on new or amending tax legislation, and collaborating with clients and stakeholders to develop solutions that manage tax aspects of global portfolios. You will also oversee governance, quality assurance, and assess impacts of external and internal changes from a tax perspective.
Job responsibilities Monitor and communicate tax changes and implications across markets and to clients.
Draft and maintain materials reflecting J.P. Morgans tax service offerings and local laws.
Manage tax information in J.P. Morgans Tax Intelligence platform.
Coordinate with local sub-custodians to oversee local market tax services.
Create market flashes, policies, and tax product materials.
Assist in managing and mitigating tax risks.
Partner with Tax, Legal, and Product teams to develop new tax products and business proposals.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Tax technical knowledge and experience with tax laws in various jurisdictions, focusing on EMEA markets.
Knowledge of securities taxation principles and considerations for institutional investors and custodians.
Excellent communication skills for internal and external updates.
Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
Minimum 5+ years experience in professional or financial services firms.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills Strong presentation skills and client-facing experience.
Ability to collaborate across multiple locations and teams.
