Secondary Science TeacherFull Time Position | Immediate Start AvailableLocation: West & South West LondonSalary: £200-£265 per day, dependent on experienceWe are delighted to announce an exciting opportunity for a passionate and committed Science Teacher to join a range of supportive and inclusive secondary schools across West and South West London. This full-time position is ideal for qualified teachers seeking stability, career development, and the opportunity to make a positive impact within a supportive secondary school environment.Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT looking to broaden your experience, this role offers the chance to work in short-term, long-term, or day-to-day placements depending on your availability and preferences.About the Role:As a Secondary Science Teacher, you will deliver engaging and well-structured lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 Science, ensuring pupils remain motivated and supported in their learning. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of teaching and learning while fostering a positive and structured classroom environment.Working across a variety of school settings, you will demonstrate strong subject knowledge, adaptability, and effective classroom management skills while supporting pupils in developing their scientific understanding and curiosity.Key Responsibilities:Plan and deliver engaging Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4Teach core scientific disciplines including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics where requiredMaintain a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment that supports learningManage classroom behaviour in line with school policies and proceduresAdapt teaching approaches to meet the needs of diverse learnersAssess, monitor, and provide feedback on pupil progressBuild positive relationships with pupils, staff, and leadership teamsFollow safeguarding, health and safety, and school-specific policies at all timesAbout You:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalentExperience teaching Science within a secondary school settingStrong subject knowledge across the Science curriculumExcellent classroom management and organisational skillsAdaptable, flexible, and confident working in new environmentsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsCommitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeingECTs and experienced teachers are encouraged to applyWho are Aspire People?Aspire People is the UK's fastest growing education recruitment agency and we specialise in providing teaching and support staff to schools across England.
