We are seeking a Secondary Supply Teacher to cover school absences across Surrey and West Sussex. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a variety of educational settings. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, reliable, and ready to step in on short notice to ensure that students continue to receive high-quality education even in the absence of their regular teacher.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Delivering pre-prepared lessons across a range of subjects to secondary school students.
- Adapting teaching methods to suit the needs of individual classes.
- Maintaining classroom discipline and overseeing student behaviour.
- Following the school's policies and procedures to ensure a safe and productive learning environment.
- Providing feedback on student performance and any significant incidents to the regular teaching staff and school administration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification recognised in the UK.
- Experience teaching in secondary schools.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and situations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for education and a commitment to professional development.
