Our client is a well-established Freight Forwarding and Logistics specialist with offices in strategically placed locations throughout England and Scotland. Delivering around 200,000 consignments per year for 9,000 clients with a turnover of €50m. We are now looking for a Sea Freight Exports Coordinator working within a busy Ocean department - to work within a team to receive bookings from oversea offices, to complete all ocean export requirements for both LCL and FCL.

Main Duties:

Receiving bookings from overseas offices Raising files using internal software system Preparation of shipping instructions Speaking to shipping lines / carriers. Checking vessel departures Ensuring correct documentation is presented / obtained Costing files Raising invoices to overseas offices File queries. Skills and Experience:

Experience in Ocean Export processes is essential Experience of Customs procedures, including Duty/Vat process is on imports is desirable Knowledge of the freight forwarding industry is essential Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Package - Word, Excel, Training on in house systems provided in full Excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills Good team player Ability to work to strict deadlines Ability to work under pressure and on own initiative Good organisational skills Flexible and adaptable Package and Benefits
