ECS Resource Group are currently working in partnership with a global managed service provider, assisting them with the search for a SDDC Manager on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the deployment, configuration, and upgrade of VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) environments using SDDC Manager, ensuring consistent configurations across dev, pre-prod, and production environments. Manage and execute NSX-T networking upgrades, distributed firewall, and micro-segmentation policies to maintain regulatory compliance (PCI/FCA) and operational security. Oversee vSAN storage management and ESXi/vCenter operations, including lifecycle management, patching, and performance optimization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, design authorities, and vendors to validate resilient, scalable, and cost-effective SDDC architectures. Develop detailed technical documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials to support on-call and incident response teams. Provide operational support for incidents, conduct root cause analysis, and implement proactive mitigation strategies to meet SLA and SLO targets.
Key Skills:
