Science Teacher

This long-term position offers a competitive salary in line with the Outer London Pay Scale, from M1 (£37,868) to UPS3 (£56,154), depending on experience.
The school is seeking a Science specialist who can deliver inspiring and well-structured lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with opportunities to teach Key Stage 5 for suitably experienced candidates. You will be joining a collaborative and well-supported Science faculty that values teamwork, high expectations, and engaging teaching that drives strong student outcomes.
In this role, you will plan and deliver dynamic Science lessons that develop students subject knowledge, practical investigation skills, and confidence in scientific thinking. The successful candidate will play an active role in maintaining high standards and contributing to the schools inclusive and aspirational learning culture.
What the School is Looking for:
A qualified Science Teacher with QTS or a PGCE (Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)
Experience teaching Science up to KS4 (KS5 experience is desirable but not essential)
Strong classroom management and a reflective, proactive approach to teaching
Confidence in planning, delivering, and assessing high-quality Science lessons
A genuine passion for Science and a commitment to helping every student succeed
