Veritas Education are currently seeking a Qualified Science Teacher for a secondary school in Hertfordshire. You will take full responsibility for teaching science and promoting the subject to students, ensuring they engage in a comprehensive and active learning environment. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and dynamic Science teacher with a passion for motivating students and fostering their knowledge of subject.

Key Responsibilities for Science Teacher:

Plan, deliver, and assess engaging science lessons in line with the school curriculum Create a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages active participation Manage and maintain student behaviour effectively, ensuring a productive and respectful atmosphere Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support where needed Collaborate with colleagues to plan and implement cross-curricular initiatives Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of childrenTo be considered for this role, you will:

Hold QTS or equivalent Have experience teaching science in a secondary school setting Possess a strong understanding of the national curriculum Be a passionate educator with high expectations for student learning and behaviour Be a team player who can collaborate effectively with other staff Have the ability to inspire, motivate, and challenge students to achieve their potential Be committed to the safeguarding and welfare of childrenECTs with experience are welcome to apply
