Job Title: SC Cleared QA Engineer Location: Farnborough 2-3 days onsite on average Duration: 6 months with possible extension Rate: TBC open to discussion Must be willing and eligible to go through the SC Clearance process Our client, a reputable organisation in the IT sector, is hiring for a skilled SC Cleared QA Engineer to join their dynamic team in Farnborough. This is an exciting opportunity to work on critical projects within a collaborative, agile environment. What you'll be doing:Develop detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts (manual and automated) for functional, regression, and performance testing.Identify, document, track, and verify software bugs using JIRA, working closely with developers to resolve issues.Create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Python, Java, JUnit) to enhance testing efficiency.Build test environments, manage test data, and conduct API/database validation.Participate in agile team meetings (Scrum), review requirements, and contribute to code reviews to ensure quality from early stages. What you'll bring:Proficiency in testing frameworks such as Selenium and TestNG, along with programming skills in Python and Java.Experience with SQL for data validation and bug tracking tools like JIRA.Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab).Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.Typically, 3-5+ years in software quality assurance, with solid knowledge of Agile methodologies.
