Savoury Prep Chef - Pie & Bakery Kitchen (Wimbledon) We are looking for a skilled and passionate Savoury Prep Chef to join the team to work at the pie & café prep kitchen in Wimbledon. This is a fantastic opportunity for a chef who loves hearty, comforting food and enjoys a structured, daytime role. You'll be responsible for preparing a range of high-quality savoury items including pies, sausage rolls, stews and brunch components, working with great ingredients and a clear focus on consistency and flavour. Start date: Mid-January ( trials available ASAP)

The Place You'll be based in our Wimbledon prep kitchen, producing food for our pies and café operation. This is a calm, organised production-style kitchen focused on quality, consistency and teamwork—ideal for chefs who enjoy prep-led cooking without late nights.
The Person The ideal candidate will have: Previous experience as a prep chef, CDP or similar role (savoury-focused) Strong skills in pastry, fillings, stews and batch cooking Good understanding of food safety and kitchen organisation Ability to work efficiently and maintain high standards A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic Passion for classic British comfort food and baked savoury goods Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
