SAP Plant Maintenance Team Lead - English Speaking. West London, UK, Hybrid Job (up to 60% onsite). Flexible start date from January 2026 onwards. Permanent Job. Salary up to £115,000 gross per annum + Bonus + Benefits.
Our client is an international consulting firm with SAP Gold Partner status. They are currently looking to hire an SAP PM/EAM (Plant Maintenance/Enterprise Asset Management) Team Lead with a Team Management/Leadership focus and demonstrable experience of working on full life cycle ECC 6 and S/4HANA projects.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
20% leading/managing a team of up to 10 SAP PM Consultants
15% on RFP and pre-sales activities
65% billable work - architecture, running workshops, gathering requirements, functional consulting
Run and manage workshops within team/client-side and main/senior stakeholders
Run the integration manager role piece on multiple projects. Overall responsibility as the functional lead for the integration modules that form part of the individual projects liaising with the team leads in those areas to help facilitate the integration points.
Management responsibility for the off- shore team on the specified project. 3 - 4 projects in total.
Mentor and/or oversee other consultants assigned to the project.
Provide clients with full life cycle project implementation consulting expertise including assessments, blueprinting, system build, testing and go-live stabilization.
Should be able to understand business requirements and provide standard/Workaround/Development solution with Functional Specification
Prepare and facilitate assessment/blueprint workshops to analyse clients' business requirements. Consultant must be able to explain to the client the business reasons for utilizing functionalities and transform them into business SAP best business practice.
Write detailed functional mapping to SAP applications, functional gap analysis, detailed blueprint design and process documentation and detailed functional specifications for any custom development. This includes integration points with other SAP modules such as QM (Quality Management), MM (Materials Management), CO (Controlling) and PS (Project Systems)
Design and Build ABAP Solutions with inputs from Functional Consultants

Working with the team to align their own objectives with company objectives ensuring uniform and measurable outcomes to help build the brand, build revenue and ultimately help build a successful and profitable working environment.
Building long lasting quality relationships with your clients to understand their needs and objectives and ability to identify and actively pursue opportunities to help protect and enhance the brand and revenue pool.
Create and/or support creation of integration/user acceptance test scenarios and scripts as well as facilitate and provide direct support for user testing.
Create and/or support creation of cutover plan and scripts as well as facilitate and provide direct support for production migration and go-live stabilization.
Provide status updates on assigned work to management and when required, act as a project manager on small to medium-sized projects.
Deciding the strategic direction of the team in terms of demand, skill and knowledge
Represent the SAP EAM function in Sales Initiatives and pre-sales activities with Clients, partners and SAP where needed
Must be able to read and debug ABAP code.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must have at least 3 years of SAP Team Leading experience
Must be driven and enthusiastic, commercially aware, strong leadership qualities and team leader experience.
Must have the ability to manage on- shore and off-shore SAP PM consultants in project assignments actively engaging in mentoring and supporting them in their project activities.
Must have several years of SAP PM/EAM Functional Consulting experience
Must have completed at least 3 Greenfield or Brownfield full end-to-end life cycle implementations
Ability to work in Projects following Agile' implementation methodology (ie developments progressed gradually often without functional specification).
Experience of assisting clients in the implementation, configuration, and support of SAP Functionality.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple deliverables and projects at the same time.
Must be comfortable as a SAP PM subject matter expert providing Smart solutions and confident in your ability to champion pre-sales activities, celebrating successes and overcoming of challenges by writing company blogs and sharing with the SAP community.
Should be a Team player & able to work independently wherever required
Nice to have but not mandatory:
Experience in the Oil and Gas/Energy Natural Resources sectors or Automobile sectors is nice to have.

Must be fluent in English (Reading, Writing, Speaking).
Salary Package:
The Fixed Basic Salary on offer is highly competitive and subject to your level of skills, knowledge and experience, ranging up to £115,000 gross per annum.
Annual performance based bonus in the region of £5,000 - £10,000.

Location of Work/Remote Working:
This is a hybrid job based in West London and the expectation is for you to come into the office on a regular basis, ideally 2-3 days every week.
For candidates who live outside of London, more flexibility could be granted, with a minimum expectation that you spend at least 1 full week in the office per month
You will also be expected to travel to customer sites as per the needs of the project.
