Non-Ferrous Metal Recycling LOCATION: North West England SALARY: £100,000 -£105,000 Company vehicle or car allowance, pension You will have worked in METAL RECYCLING in one of these functions: Scrap Metal Commercial Manager, Field Sales Executive, BDM, Business Development Executive, FSE, Non-Ferrous Metals Trader, Business Development Manager, BDE, Sales Manager, Head of Non-Ferrous Metals Key Focus Areas:

Sales & Growth: Build and execute sales strategy, expand customer base (mills, smelters, traders), and grow domestic/export markets.

Pricing & Commercial Management: Set competitive pricing aligned with market conditions (e.g. LME), manage margins, stock, and financial risk.

Quality & Compliance: Ensure product specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements are consistently met.

Collaboration: Work cross-functionally with Purchasing, Operations, Transport, Finance, and HSEQ to align supply, logistics, and sales.

Market Insight & Reporting: Track market trends, competitor activity, and provide performance reporting.

Customer Management: Build long-term relationships, manage contracts, and maintain high service standards. Requirements:

Strong experience in non-ferrous metals trading/sales

Knowledge of pricing (LME), grades, and global markets

Commercial, analytical, and negotiation skills

Understanding of compliance and export regulations You must have a full UK Driving Licence You will have worked in METAL RECYCLING in one of these functions: Scrap Metal Commercial Manager, Field Sales Executive, BDM, Business Development Executive, FSE, Non-Ferrous Metals Trader, Business Development Manager, BDE, Sales Manager, Ferrous Metals Buyer
