Role: Business Development Manager\nType: Permanent \nPay: £65,000 + 10% annual bonus + £500 car allowance per month\nHours: 37.5 per week, flexible\nLocation: Warwick (Remote with occasional travel)\n \nI’m supporting a growing manufacturing business that designs and manufactures sensors among other products. Their solutions are used by Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) across construction, agriculture, marine, automotive, defense, and power generation industries. Due to continued growth, they’re looking for a Business Development Manager to drive new business and grow existing accounts across the UK.\n \nAs the Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for “hunting” new business opportunities while managing and developing key accounts.

You’ll combine technical knowledge with strong relationship-building skills, visiting clients across the UK, engaging via phone and digital channels, and representing the company at exhibitions.\n \nBusiness Development Manager\nJob Description\n\nIdentify and secure new business opportunities across the UK, driving revenue growth.\nManage and develop relationships with existing key accounts to maximize value.\nCollaborate with internal teams to provide technical solutions tailored to client needs.\nAttend exhibitions and industry events to promote products and generate leads.\nMaintain accurate records of sales activity, forecasts, and pipeline management. \nBusiness Development Manager\nEssential Experience/Skills/Qualifications\n\nProven new business “hunter” experience in technical or engineering sales.\nExperience managing and growing existing accounts is desirable.\nMechanical engineering background, ideally with sensors experience (preferred but not essential).\n3+ years’ experience in technical or mechanical sales, or more senior experience if proven.\nStrong communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.\nWillingness to travel frequently across the UK. \nBusiness Development Manager\nBenefits:\n\n25 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing with service\nStandard pension scheme\nFlexible working hours\n£500 per month car allowance\n10% annual performance bonus\nCareer development within the wider group \n \nIf you feel you’re a good fit for this position, please click ‘apply
