Role Overview
The Event & Sales Manager is accountable for generating and converting all events, group and non-exclusive booking revenue. This is a commercial, non-operational role focused on proactive sales activity, strong enquiry conversion and long-term relationship building.
The role works closely with the Berlin Sales Team to attract corporate groups and support associated rooms revenue. All event delivery and on-the-day operations are managed by the restaurant operations team.
Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Ownership Take full ownership of the events, groups and non-exclusive bookings sales pipeline
Proactively generate new business across corporate groups, agencies, brands and private events
Convert inbound enquiries into confirmed, high-value revenue
Lead commercial negotiations, pricing decisions and upselling opportunities
Manage and grow key high-value and strategic agent accounts
Corporate Groups & Rooms Collaboration Support and convert corporate group enquiries
Maximise rooms pick-up linked to events
Identify and deliver cross-selling opportunities across rooms, food and beverage, and events
Ensure commercial strategies are aligned across teams and departments
Reporting & Forecasting Own revenue forecasting and maintain a clear, accurate sales pipeline
Monitor performance against key KPIs including conversion, revenue and segment mix
Internal Collaboration Liaise with Restaurant Operations for feasibility checks and final handover only
Work closely with Revenue and Finance teams on pricing strategy and forecasting
Success Profile Strong commercial and sales-led mindset with a track record of high conversion
Confident negotiator with excellent relationship-building skills
Analytical, target-driven and commercially focused
Comfortable working cross-department and across international teams
