*Job Role: *
We are looking for a skilled Roofer to become part of our Roofing Team, responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on pitched roofs. The ideal candidate will be able to recognise roofing problems and offer suitable solutions, while ensuring safety when working at height. You will have the capability to replace and install roof tiles, slates, felt, cement work and leadwork. Install mounting systems and solar PV panels on pitched and flat roofs.
*Key Responsibilities*
· Diagnose and repair a wide range of roofing issues.
· Cement work- being able to repair, ridging and verges.
· Being able to complete a project from start to finish (eg, knowing what materials need preparing, clean up to leave the site spotless at the end of a project, ensuring the client is left happy, etc).
· Use software to receive, update and close jobs, including uploading photographs and job notes.
· Liaise professionally with residents, clients and colleagues to ensure excellent customer experience.
· Maintain a clean and safe work area in line with Aran H&S procedures.
*General Duties:*
· Work in a tidy manner, cleaning work areas after job completion.
· Work in accordance with company procedures.
· Represent the company in friendly and professional manner.
· Adhere to Health and Safety regulations at all times
· Any other Ad Hoc Duties, which may be required by the business from time to time.
*Essential:*
· Knowledge of Installing Solar PV and MCS regulations
· Confident working at height
· Understanding of Health and Safety requirements on site
· Knowledge of PV mounting systems
· Excellent communication skills
· Professionalism
· Team player
· Self-motivated
· PASMA Certification
· CSCS Card
*Desirable:*
· Experience using mobile job management systems
· NVQ level 2 in a Roofing discipline
· NOCN PV Roofing qualification

The roofer will be based in Kent and will work normal office hours Monday to Friday, 8am–4:30pm. However, on occasions you will be required to work outside these hours and away from the head office. Staff must attend training courses, conferences and meetings which may require overnight stays.
