On behalf of M&G, AMS are looking for a Risk & Compliance Senior Executive Business Manager for a 6-month contract based in London. It is a hybrid model working 3-4 days on site.

The Role
As Risk & Compliance Senior Executive Business Manager you will support the Chief Risk & Compliance Officer (CRCO) in the leadership of the Risk & Compliance function, providing business management support to facilitate the strategy, operations and communication of the function. This includes support on board level matters, delivery of Risk & Compliance transformation activities and stakeholder management.
Key Responsibilities for this role:
Oversee the effective running key functional processes including: Management of financial budget and targets, people engagement and resource planning, procurement of suppliers, act as a point of escalation to resolve issues for the Leadership Team and other Risk & Compliance staff.
Supporting the CRCO in delivering strategic priorities and cross-functional initiatives
Acting as a trusted advisor to leadership teams to support decision-making
Leading and overseeing Risk & Compliance transformation and key projects
Managing core functional operations including budget, resourcing, suppliers, and issue escalation
Leading internal communications, leadership meetings, and employee engagement activity
Representing Risk & Compliance at committees and preparing papers and reports as required
Run Leadership Team activities including developing agendas and chairing
Prepare key papers and reports for committees and other audiences (e.g. regulators) on behalf of the CRCO as required
Key Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Experience within Financial Services environment.
Strong understanding of the business, regulatory, and market environment
Experience leading senior-level change and transformation initiatives
Ability to build business cases and deliver value and ROI
Proven capability in influencing senior stakeholders and building trusted partnerships
Producing board/committee papers and strategic documentation
Decisive, strategic thinker with the ability to solve complex problems quickly and effectively
