Key Objectives/Deliverables\n\n· The role of the Microwave Rigger is to carryout complete installation of Microwave Radio equipment.\n\n· Follow the documentation associated with each link, ensuring that all work is completed on time and quality.\n\n·Experience working with Ericsson and SIAE MW would be preferred.\n\n· Ensure that all relevant information is contained within the work pack, to enable job to be completed successfully.\n\n· Check equipment prior to delivery to ensure correct radio configuration, antenna size etc.\n\n· Installation of Microwave Antennas and Out Door Units.\n\n· Installation and laying RF cables and Earthing.\n\n· Installation of Indoor Equipment.\n\n· Panning of System & testing.\n\n· Labelling.\n\n· Taking relevant photographs for documentation purposes.\n\n· Complete of all site related paperwork.\n\n· Ensure that all health and safety requirements are met.\n\n· Follow all site specific and relevant risk assessment and method statements.\n\nOperational Experience:\n\nEssential\n\n· At least 2 years experience on Microwave Rigging.\n\n· Experience with Microwave equipment installations of various OEMs.\n\n· Working at heights (rooftops, masts, water towers etc).\n\n· Working knowledge of Microwave Transmission networks.\n\nAcademic & Technical Background\n\nEssential\n\n· Rooftop training\n\n· Safe climbing\n\n· First Aid\n\n· RF awareness\n\n· Tower Rescue\n\n· HNC or equivalent.\n\nPerson Specifications\n\nEssential\n\n· Strong team player.\n\n· Attention to detail.\n\n· Flexible.\n\nAdditional Information\n\n· Should have own Toolkit, PPE, Laptop and RF Monitor if possible which are required for the job
