Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Reward & People Analytics Manager to join our dynamic team.
The Reward Manager supports the Head of Reward in executing the global reward strategy for Watson-Marlow. This role handles daily operations of the Reward function, ensuring smooth delivery of annual reward cycles, benefits programs, and key projects. Acting as a Centre of Excellence, the Reward Manager collaborates closely with HR colleagues and external providers to ensure consistency, fairness, and operational excellence across the organization.
This hands-on role emphasizes data analysis, process optimization, and stakeholder engagement. It offers an opportunity to influence and improve reward practices globally, contributing to major initiatives. With guidance from the Head of Reward, the role also offers a clear development path into broader global reward areas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the operational delivery of annual reward cycles, including performance-related pay reviews, management bonuses, and validating LTIP vesting and grants in collaboration with Group Reward.
- Administer and improve the UK Flexible Benefits program in partnership with external providers and UK Reward teams.
- Ensure consistent application of the grading framework, working with Group and BU Reward teams for alignment.
- Manage administration and data collection for processes like Gender Pay Gap, Ethnicity Pay Gap, Living Wage checks, bonus calculations, and employee share schemes.
- Serve as the first contact for reward-related queries from HR colleagues and employees.
- Provide expert advice on compensation and benefits, ensuring policy compliance and best practices.
- Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent teams to embed reward processes and support performance and development frameworks.
- Analyze reward data to identify trends and provide insights to the Head of Reward.
- Conduct external market research using salary surveys and benchmarking tools to guide reward decisions.
- Use HR systems to develop insights into people analytics, such as absence, attrition, and quality of hire, to support business decisions.
- Maintain reward data accuracy and integrity.
- Support reward-related projects aligned with HR and business strategies, such as global grading, benefits harmonization, or developing compensation philosophy.
- Collaborate with Spirax Group Reward and other business units for consistency and alignment.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a global or matrixed organization.
- Knowledge of job evaluation methodologies and global grading frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage and maintain high-accuracy employee data.
- Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate insights into clear recommendations.
- Comfortable working independently and across global teams and time zones.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
