Job Description

A leading international law firm is seeking a talented Restructuring & Insolvency Associate (2–4 PQE) to join its growing London team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly ranked restructuring practice with a strong reputation for complex cross-border and domestic work across multiple sectors.


About the Team

The team advises a broad spectrum of clients including funds, financial institutions, corporates, insolvency practitioners, management teams and creditors. With a focus on non-contentious, transactional restructuring, the group has an outstanding track record in sectors such as real estate, financial services, construction, automotive, retail, and energy.


You will gain exposure to restructuring plans, cross-border insolvency issues, and complex financial arrangements, working alongside specialists across the firm’s international offices. Associates are encouraged to take on early responsibility and are supported with high-quality training, mentoring, and clear paths for progression.


Key Responsibilities

  • Advising on transactional and advisory restructuring matters
  • Supporting complex domestic and multi-jurisdictional mandates
  • Working with a range of stakeholders including lenders, investors, debtors, and insolvency officeholders
  • Taking a client-facing role on transactions, with increasing autonomy over time
  • Supporting business development initiatives and contributing to thought leadership


What We’re Looking For

  • 2–4 years’ PQE, with experience at a top-tier law firm
  • Strong technical grounding in restructuring and insolvency law
  • Experience with restructuring plans and cross-border matters
  • Commercial awareness and client focus
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and team-oriented approach
  • UK or Aus/NZ Qualified
