Hybrid (Office base: Lowestoft + community travel) £14.82 PAYE April 2026 start | Initial 3-month contract (potential to extend) 37 hours per week (Mon–Fri, 09:00–17:00 + flexibility)
We’re recruiting for a Resident Liaison Officer to support a major Warm Homes programme focused on improving energy efficiency, reducing fuel poverty, and enhancing the wellbeing of residents.
This is a highly interactive, community-based role—ideal for someone who enjoys being out and about, engaging with people, and making a real difference.
About the Role
You’ll act as the key link between residents and the project, ensuring tenants understand the benefits of the programme and feel confident taking part.
This role involves face-to-face engagement, including home visits and door knocking, as well as handling queries, resolving concerns, and working closely with contractors and stakeholders to support delivery.
Your work will directly impact engagement levels—critical to the success and funding of the project.
Key Responsibilities
* Engage with residents via home visits, phone, and digital communication
* Explain the Warm Homes programme and encourage participation
* Build trust with residents, including vulnerable or hard-to-engage individuals
* Handle queries and complaints, resolving access issues where needed
* Plan and manage your own appointments and regional travel
* Liaise with contractors, assessors, and internal teams
* Maintain accurate records and compliance documentation
* Attend occasional tenant meetings (some flexibility required)
What We’re Looking For
* Strong customer service experience (ideally community-facing)
* Confident engaging with a wide range of people, including in challenging situations
* Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
* Able to work independently and manage a busy workload
* IT literate (Microsoft 365 and similar systems)
* Full UK driving licence, own vehicle & business insurance
* Minimum Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience)
Desirable
* Experience in social housing or local government
* Knowledge of property maintenance or construction
* Community outreach or engagement experience
* Exposure to energy efficiency or decarbonisation programmes

Important Information
