The Biltmore Mayfair, an iconic five-star hotel in the heart of Londons most prestigious neighbourhood, is seeking a Reservations Manager. You will be responsible for supporting the Director of Revenue Management in leading total hotel revenue management across the property collaborating with all hotel departments and Director of Revenue management to ensure optimal revenue strategies are implemented in all departments, deputizing for the Director of Revenue. You will be part of Leadership Team. To provide guests with a memorable stay experience that is personalized to their needs, throughout their stay at the hotel by ensuring that the team is responding efficiently to their inquiries and advising them of the amenities and benefits offered by the hotel. To maximise Revenue & Reservations, Individuals & Groups revenue for the hotel through pro-active selling, effective administration and outstanding customer service To actively develop successful customer partnerships, and securing future and repeat business whilst ensuring a clear and effective line of communications are maintained with Front Desk, Accounts and Group, Conference & Events Sales Team on property. Responsible for supporting team members on a daily basis with any queries and issues that may arise and engaging with them to ensure well-being and satisfaction. Has the responsibility to assist the management to drive and deliver positive results. Reservations Manager responsible for: Oversee the day-to-day handling of all incoming phone calls with the Reservations team ensuring the highest levels of service Lead alongside the Director of Revenue Management, the implementation of an optimal revenue strategy across reservation department Implementation of reservations procedures, and maximise conversion ratios in order to achieve targets for the department Reviewing the Reservations Team rota, hours of operations and shifts Ensuring the Reservations Team responds to all customers in a highly professional manner as per the Forbes Standards Ensuring all Team Members are developed effectively and generate a culture of high quality standards for relationship building, customer service, selling techniques Build strong relationships with Guests and Team Members in order to gain full understanding of their needs and work to serve them effectively Comply the hotel credit policy andcheck the House Accounts regularly and clearing them without any delays Keep close attention to team members requirements, including attention to every team members workload and duties, to fulfil operational needs Ensure that all team members have a complete understanding and adhere to the hotels team member rules and regulations Ensuring all reservations enquiries are prioritised Monitor room inventory on daily basis and control any overbooking Reservations Manager will have: Excellent command of written and spoken in English to meet business needs. Minimum 2 years of experience at a Reservations Manager level with 5* Luxury Hotels Good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
