£40,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)
We are currently working in partnership with a well-established residential care provider supporting adults with long-term mental health diagnoses. They are seeking an experienced and compassionate Registered Manager to lead one of their specialist services in Weston-super-Mare.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced leader who wants to focus on delivering high-quality, person-centred care, with strong operational support in place to reduce administrative burden. The organisation provides dedicated internal HR, Finance, and Therapeutic input, including access to Clinical Psychology and Positive Behaviour Support specialists, enabling you to concentrate on leadership, culture, and service development.
The Role
As Registered Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of the service, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and leadership.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading, managing, and developing a staff team
Ensuring full compliance with CQC regulations and relevant legislation
Promoting a positive, recovery-focused and person-centred culture
Driving continuous improvement across the service
Working closely with internal clinical and support teams
Ensuring safe, effective and high-quality care delivery
About You
We are looking for a confident and compassionate leader who can inspire teams and create a supportive environment for both staff and residents.
You will have:
A minimum of 3 years' experience as a Registered Manager
Strong background supporting adults with complex mental health needs
Proven experience leading, managing, and developing teams
Strong understanding of CQC requirements and current legislation
Excellent communication, organisational, and leadership skills
A flexible, resilient, and conscientious approach
Commitment to ongoing professional development
Requirements
Minimum 3 years' experience working with adults with complex mental health needs (essential)
Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care (essential)
