About the Role An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and experienced Registered Manager to lead the operational delivery of a newly opened childrens residential home for young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD) and complex needs .

As the Ofsted Registered Manager , youll be responsible for ensuring that the home provides a safe, nurturing, and high-quality environment where every young person can reach their full potential.

Youll lead your team with empathy, structure, and vision creating a culture that promotes stability, growth, and outstanding care.

The home has recently received a Good Ofsted rating , and this is an opportunity to take it to the next level of excellence.

Key Responsibilities Lead the operational management of the home as the Ofsted Registered Manager .

Ensure full compliance with Childrens Homes Regulations (2015) and Ofsted inspection standards .

Create and sustain a child-centred culture focused on safety, development, and emotional wellbeing.

Recruit, manage, and develop staff through effective rotas, supervisions, and training.

Oversee safeguarding , health & safety , education liaison , and care planning .

Manage budgets, ensure accurate documentation, and maintain confidentiality and data protection.

Participate in the 24/7 on-call rota to provide responsive leadership and support.

Requirements ? NVQ Level 3 minimum and/or Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management for Residential Childcare (or working towards).

? Eligible to register with Ofsted as a Registered Manager.

? Strong working knowledge of Childrens Homes Regulations , Quality Standards , and Ofsted frameworks .

? Experience managing a childrens residential home or similar care setting.

? Excellent leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.

? Confident in managing safeguarding, compliance, and staff performance.

? IT literate and capable of handling occasional manual handling duties.

? Full UK driving licence (desirable).
